From the earliest written piece of music in England to a paean by one of the choir’s tenors; from old to new; from Russian to American music; from choral music to flute solos and from hope to sleep, an inspiring gamut of styles, periods, and emotions are presented in a panoply of beautiful work personifying music’s all-encompassing powers to soothe, uplift and transcend.
