Music for an Autumn Afternoon
St James Christow, June 2013
We were delighted to welcome ExeVox back to Christow for their third concert with us. On Saturday 8 June we were treated to a feast of music from around the world, and in an impressive range of languages. The programme included something for everyone, from sacred pieces all the way through to Flanders and Swann and Perry Como. ExeVox bring us such wonderful variety (men only, ladies only, solos, duets, wonderful choral harmonies) and so clearly enjoy what they do. Their Musical Director, Peter Adcock, once again enabled them to reach a stunning standard of performance. Not only did ExeVox bring us a fabulous concert, they helped us raise over £600 for church funds! We have already booked them again for June 2015!
St Andrew's Ipplepen, June 2013
ExeVox helped St Andrew’s Church, Ipplepen, to raise over £200 for church funds at its concert Harmony Across The Globe on Saturday 1 June 2013.
Singing music from all over the world - from America to Russia, and across time, from the 16th century to the present, the chamber choir was conducted by their musical director Peter Adcock and with two solos from Tom Morris. This was glorious music beautifully sung. With a backdrop of our lovely carved screen glowing in the evening sun this was a real treat for all who were there - truly an evening to remember. We hope we will hear them again soon!

In a programme which led the audience round the world, ExeVox performed songs from the fifteenth century to the twentieth and in no fewer than eight languages (English, French, German, Latin, Russian, Spanish, Swedish and Welsh), rounding the evening off with a medley of Perry Como - "magic moments" a-plenty!
